    1. Scott Martin

How should I set up my tackle organization this year? Hope you guys enjoyed! Make sure to share this with your friends! 👊🏼

      1. Adam Freeman

Yes i am with you on your idea...I took my tubes out and run rod socks and will never look back. Use center for all your boxes like you said.

      2. Jeremy Anderson

Take out the v. Leave everything else the same.

      3. BP Outdoors

Rod socks and keep the tubes on the left side 2 or 3 per hole

      4. Gxlden

try the rod socks and see if it works and if its still easy to get the right rod you want and if that doesnt work you should use the center rod storage

      5. Nolan Myers

Put the rods in the middle because then it is faster to get baits out of the sides considering you would stand on the middle of the boat and the door is set up weird to get baits

    2. Liz Hurless

I would put the rods in the middle

    3. Braden Kang

Guys do u know what channel he’s on on tv

    4. Jimmy Simmons

Dude if you move it you will never find it ... lol

    5. LeilaniRL

I love that boat its so nice

    6. Michael Chapman

Scott, I would take out the center rod tubes, there is more width to stack the rod neater and use the other rod box to sort out baits. I would also sort the bays, one with crank baits, jigs and spinner baits, the other worms, the other creature bait and so. Thanks Cheekie

    7. s static

start off using the middle rod locker as a rod locker 1st then use it as a storage and so on. I just feel ranger wasted time making a middle rod locker that no one seem to use

    8. Tom Anderson

What a sponsor suck up. Can you even catch a bass in a jon boat without a battery in it? Glad you can make a living reciting all your sponsors ads.

    9. Paul Peel

Hi mr. Martin., I enjoy all your & Hilary fishing videos! on new boat , very nice! Have a ldeal on storage and more room for your fishing rod, mount all your tackle box’s on bottom of storage compartments lid? So when you rise door everything at your finger tip . Hope this help? Paul Peel Mansfield Tx would love to hear from your guys. 8179173171

    10. AnglingNVirginia

Dude 6grand in batteries!!! That’s a boat for a lot of ppl lol

    11. AnglingNVirginia

Yea, will look better with that 250 Mercury since evin is shutting done and leaving everyone dry.

    12. Ray C

I can take some tackle and some rods off your hands. That will eliminate some storage issues. LOL

    13. jracer77

Too bad you need to take off your Evinrude logos and Motor soon :( That really sucks about Evinrude. You had a good run with them.

    14. Armand Rusaw

Hi Scott, Remove the rod tubes and then you can add much more rods by using rod socks. Believe me, you will be surprised. Armand

    15. TheSwackster

I just started using lure lock boxes. Love them. Open the end of the rod locker and put all your rods there. Good Luck this year .

    16. Adventure Fishing

Under every hatch u can hang plastics, build a track with clips.

    17. Adventure Fishing

      So jelly!

    18. Monte

A little late on the video. Great boat. I can't give you advice since I roll with a 20hp. Lol. But your set up looks great to me. New Subscriber and good luck this season.

    19. Lance W

Been using rod socks for years. Takes a couple more seconds but I love them. Saves so much space

    20. Noah Stephens

I don’t want to know how much $$

    21. Warren Ray Ledbetter

New Evinrude, huh? Uh, that could be a problem.

    22. Merlins Prodigy

      120k later

    23. Turd Cutter

      Nice motor 👍🏼😆😱😂😂😂💩

    24. Hunter Bull

What motor are you gonna run next year since Evinrude ended production?

    25. MATT ZANDER

Hi Scott I would have the main compartment for boxes, the top left for soft plastics, bottom left for excess soft plates and day to day, and remove the rod tubes

    26. Cody Holcomb

Mr Martin this is exactly why you are my all time favorite pro anglers, love the content always , my father still a huge fan of your fathers.

      1. Cody Holcomb

Grew up on a 373v ranger 150 evinrude

    27. WatchThisPlay

Fishing as a job, now thats a dream Breaks over, got to get back to work.

    28. dynamo2169

      Favorite pro bar none

    29. RangerTheGSP !

Wouldn’t it be cool if you bought me a new Curado Dc combo 1 for me and 1 for my dad I’m jk keep up the good work and catch some monsters💪💪

    30. Christian Benash

I’m not sure about throwin all your rod together. The reason is because it might save time if you didn’t have to pull a rod from the bottom of all your rods. Having them kind of spread out might help save some time on finding the right rod you need.

    31. Nate Radford

Hey Scott I think where are the spinnerbaits? You are a great spinnerbait fisherman that's my favorite way to catch um.

    32. Phillip Manning

Why no HotFoot? Just curious if there is a particular reason or just personal preference. Thanks!

    33. Frank Chandler III

Baits/tackle in center, blocks wind, rain, splash etc. ....other eyes! Lol best of luck.

    34. Rippin’ Lips Fishin’

I would take the rod tubes out and use the rod socks and use the center for all your lure lock boxes and your tubes like you said. You would have so much more space

    35. brooks Bunch

Anybody watching now and wanting to tell Scott that evinrude does not make motors

    36. Patrick Extrum

What evinrude did different is go outta business...what band will you be with nextyear??

    37. C. Reid

      Love those Rangers! AWESOME BOAT!

    38. Kirk Bourgeois

      How fast?

    39. big dad ace

I love to watch guys like Denny, two rods on deck , a bag of trailers and jigs in his pocket, and Bassmaster Classic win in sight. Leave some stuff in the truck you won't need it on tournament day...

    40. mikes construction / maintenance roofing guthridge

Make center point of boat for storage

    41. Matt Farmer

Scott you should make a video on how to find and catch fish just using the pan optic/ fish finder tech on your boat. Also how do you rig your saucy swimmers and bandits bugs?

    42. Kaiden Ellis

Hey Scott why don’t you run a hot foot so you can have both hands on the wheel

    43. michael hutchins

Hey Scott, love the channel and y’all’s marina. I believe I would remove the tubes as well and go to the rod sleeves and use the middle for tackle and right side for what ever else you need. Best of luck, hope to actually get to meet you and your dad sometime.

    44. Gunner Filipowicz

I would use the middle for your rods and the left and right for tackle bc if you are fishing up front, you dont want to have to want have to walk to step down to open up your tackle space.

    45. John Galvan

How much of this boat did you actually pay for? Not hating I love you and am jealous lol.

    46. andrew meyer

Put lures in the middle because that is most of your weight. Then you will be able to run faster because all weight is centered. I would take out the rod tubes for more rods and just use sleeves. Then use the other side for googan baits and as a day box

    47. Landon LK

The reason I don’t like evinrude is cause they barely have warranty and they aren’t good for a long time

    48. Charles Bowen

those new evinrudes are the best lookin outbored on the market

    49. Avery Stevens

rod socks for sure scott why are you second guessing yourself

    50. THE DUCK BOY

      Yamaha

    51. Tyler Mims

I’ve always liked tackle storage in the center box. It is larger, easier to see everything, and keeps the weight centered on the boat. Any overflow tackle can go in the smaller box in front of the console.

    52. Joe Williams

Hey Scott love the show i watch every one. I really like the way you get it done. I have a ranger and im looking for some carpet Decals. For example the bass pro and others. Can you tell me where i can order some. Thanks Scott

      1. Scott Martin

Zdecals ...please let them know you saw it from me. 👍🏻

    53. bent rodguy

most definitely remove the rod tubes....you can easily get 20 rods or more , i have 20ft cobra and can get 30 , same boat as old ranger , also get rid of the powerpoles, go with minn kota talons, they have no pumps, all electric and brushless, and no switches, they use remote and can even use app on your phone, , they never fail, and you dont have to get in the water if they did like power poles, lose teh center rod storage as well, check out jacob wheelers setup very organized, i have 3 center storage hatches in my cobra/champion, i did custom extension, i now have 48sf flipping deck 3 center storage, and can carry tons in the tackle trays in each hatch, around 12, and well over 100 bags of soft plastics on left side , i put wire through each bag hole and flip through it, and keep tools, anchors, etc... on left side.

    54. Zeus Von Rafiel

Scott, why do u not use a hotfoot? I had one put in my ranger n liked it much more. It freed up both my hands. Just curious!! Take out rod holders n keep ur bait boxes where they are! That is the way I used my Ranger n had over 20 rods also. God Bless

    55. S Walker

I like the heaviest stuff in the middle to balance out the boat. If you have heavy stuff to the driver's side plus you on that side you can be leaning to the right. Just my opinion. It can make a difference even in a big boat

    56. Luke Carty

I would definitely take out those slots where you keep your poles. Put some rod socks on em, you’ll be able to fit more in there, for sure. Also, you could make more room in the middle compartment by movie some rods you may have in that middle one. Make some room on the side ones, on the right, by just taking out the tackle that you think will work best for that day, put some shirts, life jackets or whatever in those two on the right and have the middle one be for tackle with a little bit of tackle for the two on the right. That’s what I would do, love your channel, just joined. I’ve already watched a lot of videos, you and your family stay safe and God Bless!!

    57. Quinn Sanders

I would take out the rod tubes on the left side and just use the rod sleeves for all rods on left side then tackle everywhere else.

    58. Cole win

I wouldnt put all the weight on the side you're sitting in. Best bet is to put it in the middle.

    59. Wendell Lollis

Did you partner with Kicker this year?

    60. Sam Battige

I know everyone needs to make money. But you are losing views with all the ads

    61. Brayden Dilday

You didn’t show us the tons of speakers in it 😣

    62. Dominic Infantine

Ur awesome wish I could meet you

    63. Chris Jordan

Ranger boats are the best! Why use the rest?

    64. ClayDog

      Little less hand 🤚 smacking

    65. James Hobbs

Definitely get rid of the rod tubes, frees up a ton of space

    66. Keeton

You should get the googan bass Mafia money bag

    67. Brett Unrau

I can't get my boat that I ordered for this year because the Canada/Usa border is closed..... making me cry to sleep.

    68. Adam Freeman

Nice looking boat man! cant wait to see fishing starting back and honestly will be cool to see the season going later into the year

    69. Emerald Notch

I'd say get rid of the rod tubes and use socks. Definitely fit more rods. Also don't change too much. Things your used to and repetition instills confidence. That's what you need when switching tours!! Good luck, I'll be watching 👍

    70. Slipshank D

for baitcasters I can get two rods per tube. the spin casters I can't because the reals take up too much room. I'm not a tournament fisher, just a weekday fisher. Because I' m retired so I only use two spin caster and 4 bait casters. but I like the side compartments on each side set up for rods and the middle for lures and plastics. Like the way Jimmy Houston did his this year.. |I like to put my box's to lay flat because I can't stand my jigs and and stuff packing in too tight to each other. I like to put labels on the side and flat side to make it easy to find what I'm looking for. I don't need as much as a pro.

    71. Bassmastr888 1

And the best part of that boat is it’s free

    72. Evil Opti Z

Just a FYI, lithium batteries are not going to make your boat faster. All they do is weigh less and don't require maintenance other than charging them.

      1. Scott Martin

        Less weight = faster

    73. Teresa Livingston

Keep it like it is take the rod tubes out bingo

    74. Brody Kee

      I like the last option

    75. Tim Prall

As far as box organizing, do whats comfortable to you. What I dont see is magnetic strips on your lids! All your main hard baits(your go tos) Can be so such a breeze if you put them on GOOD magnetic strips on the bottom of your deck lids! Hope thats a little insight for you.

    76. James Mims

Get a Phoenix and there wouldn’t be any guesswork to where to put your tackle.

    77. Thomas Smith

You are almost as Cool as your father😀!! Respect from Florida.

    78. Dustin Hix

I can fit about 30 rods in socks in my side rod box on a Champion 190SC

    79. Dustin Hix

      do you run a hotfoot?

    80. James Hunter

Hey Scott do you have a hotfoot or foot paddle

    81. James Hunter

Remove the tubs go with socks

    82. HBeretta

just move the powerpole switch over 3-5 inches onto the side of the console right next to fishbrain logo so you can step and reach from front of boat and reach around when seated. i'm digging the new boat though....real nice! and if you remove that V holder for the rods and lay on each other, the reels getting beat up on rough water not a concern?

    83. Ja Cypriano

Is the evinrude a good engine or is mercury better

    84. Austin’s Fishing tips & tricks

FYI love your videos love to watch you on the water and inspire kids like me so thank you also tried to meet you at the classic but couldn’t find you. 😁

    85. Austin’s Fishing tips & tricks

Remove the rod tubs and get rod socks put all your tackle in the center

    86. Devin’s gone Fishing

Pls keep making vids pls 🙏

    87. Cooper Syvertsen

Ditch the tubes on left and store rods over there with rod socks, keep center as tackle storage. Box in front of console can be more tackle storage and the one in front of it could be jackets or whatever else

    88. Baron Savoy

      When is next bass master

    89. Kflare bassin

You should put your rods right in the middle and then have your hard baits and crank baits and all that on the side with the two boxes and then in the other rod locker on the side you should put soft plastics

    90. Joseph Fulghum

Nice setup already. Your a true legand in the making. Thanks for all ur fishing tips it has improved my fishing game and it allows me to pass more knowledge to my kids. Keep up the good work and as always praying for you and your family 🙏

    91. gantfishing

i've always been curious as to why you don't run a hot foot?

      1. Tim Prall

        That is a good question

    92. Clint McEntire

Remove the tubes wheeler carries 25 30 rods in his

    93. sheaffer grubbs

It's a nice boat.......but I'll put my skeeter fxr apex up against that boat any day........have fun stay safe and healthy. ....

    94. David Loiacano

Put the baits in the compartments to the right because if you need a bait from a tackle box while your in a tournament you will have to go to the back of the boat so you can open it to get the tackle box with the baits you need

    95. the farmer adventures

you are my faviorite fisherman good luck at the tournements

    96. the farmer adventures

you should put your faviorite baits rigged up on the left and use the middle for storage im a fisherman and I use the middle for storage and sometimes every once an a while I split in in half and rods on one side tackle on the other

    97. Jack Betker

Take the V out so you can have more rods

    98. C Bancroft III

Good for you defending your Sponsor!! When you have sponsors you truly believe in its easy to put there Product out there with confidence! And Im going insane with NO Tourney's It sucks so bad not even for the $$ or any of that but nothing more Adrenalin Pumping then Catching a Monster during tourney Time!

    99. S.I.T Vlogs

Jackets in the back and tackle and stuff in the front

    100. Dan Quirke

You obviously need more storage. Get ranger to let you keep last years boat as a chase boat for tackle.
