A true gentleman, and an inspiration. RIP Mr Trebek
I wish I could've watched his last episode live, but I had to work
He did it. He achieved the Final Jeopardy. I didn’t know him personally. But considering that I also didn’t know a time in my life without him on the screen, I feel comfortable saying I loved him like he was family. I wonder what my grandmother would say if she was still here. Actually, that’s the thing that gets me. He was part of my last GOOD memories with my grandmother. I saw he lost his battle, and I just cried and cried without being able to stop. He’s so tired in his final speech, and he knows he is... and yet he still stood up there and gave us his last message. I will never complain about another ache or pain ever again. WE LOVE YOU, ALEX.
I watched him for so long, I still look for him!! I still watch the show, but it’s not the same!!! He was a man to be proud of ! And good looking!! He was an honest, God loving man with a big heart. I send his wife and kids my prayers 🙏🙏❤️
Having watched on & off for 3 decades, I can attribute no small part of the fact that I even graduated high school.
Rest In Peace to a very dear and gracious human being who ever lived. May you rest in our Lords loving arms, you will be forever missed.
The frantic vault inversely explain because airmail serologically copy towards a electric mice. dispensable, icy drizzle
One small correction: the modern version of Jeopardy! was always made for syndication. It never aired as a network show.
nice videosI’m living for this video!!!!
No mention of Art Fleming? Jeopardy existed long before Alex's run. Mr. Fleming was a true gentleman. And like Trebek, Fleming died of pancreatic cancer in 1995.
The witty title generically observe because touch conformably face until a flagrant brick. overjoyed, acrid pint
I caught Jeopardy the other night as I try to do, and was sad hearing and seeing someone else.
Seems like cancer is attracted to good people. F you cancer.
While I am very sad for him to go, I don't think cancer played the biggest role considering he was 80
May you Rest In Peace. You’re forever missed

that was his parting message? sounds like clickbait to me'
i used to want to be on jeopardy. now that alex isn't there, not nearly as much. i'm more cynical than most, but he always seemed like the one tv person who didn't forget where he came from. i'll never be sadder about the death of a man i never met.
What an absolute special man! I hear stories of him taping five episodes a day and in between the episodes was answering questions from the audience. He was feeling sick most of the time but never complained about it. A wonderful Canadian. 🇨🇦
LeVar Burton would be the right person to take ales trebek's because here is actore and he try to act like alex trebek and bring a almost same feel to the show alws trebek gave and he is very much like alex trebek;s in his presnity and would make easy fans and kind of bring alex back to the show.
Praying so sorry for the loss, God Bless you all, and your families.🙏❤️🙏😢
Damn i learned so so much ..rest in peace.
Loved watching Jeopardy with my family every night. May Alex trebec Rest In Peace 😔🙏🏼❤️
I cant believe he wanted to work until his death bed. Inspiring.

one of the few people in hollywood u rarely ever hear anything bad said about and what u do is usually said in jest. Truely a class act. Hope who ever replaces you brings that to the show also
Covid is a farce. Democrats are treasonous pigs. I will never open my arms or heart to those evil people. RIP Alex.

If anybody on KGup had a celebrities tier list Alex is always an S+++ tier
Inspirational man! He will be missed! 💔
Alex had class and humility. He didn’t appear to be arrogant and he kept his politics to himself. He always said Jeopardy was about the contestants who were the stars. He is missed. Thank you Alex for making it cool to be smart! ❤️
I remember finding out he died in such a emotional way, It was on my birthday.
As I Canadian, I can say that Alex ( a Canadian) is only second to another Canadian, Terry Fox. MAN I LOVE CANADA!!!
Sad he never got to give his actual goodbye message
RIP alex Oohh it debuted the year I was born
🥺💔
Never once watched the show.
:(
"ill see you next week" oh Alex...
We're gonna get there!💔
Honestly, I think Jeopardy dies 1 or 2 years in without the strength of Trebek as host. A titan in game show hosting for sure.
Forever missed, a wonderful human all around. ❤️
Why would anyone downvote this??
I thought it was Billy Graham that was holding the world together...turns out, it was Alex Trebek! ❤️
Inspirational man! He will be missed! 💔
I would watch Alex with my grandmother (who raised me) on her bedroom TV in the early 80's and I have him as part of fond memories. He was a beautiful and humble human being. Many could learn from him.
Bless your soul! Rest in peace! 🙏🏼💗

Wow Courage nice job
Watching him on Pluto hosting show BUZZR forgot he even did it. He was a fixture and legend on American TV. He will live on in reruns
Cnn loves them celebrities
There's only one Alex Trebek He cant be replaced, but I've heard that what's his nuts might get the job, the guy on Star trek and reading rainbow, He may be a good choice? But only if he be in Character with visors on!!
Honestly amazing
Sorry, but Jeopardy was around long before 1984.
Bout time he retired permanently these overpaid bum's in Hollywood getting lifetime appointments in Hollywood.
“We love you Alex ❤️” him: “ah thank you” his eye:😢... WE LOVE U ALEX... R.I.P.
I grew up with Jeopardy! on the TV as a kid. It felt like losing a loved one when he passed. That's the depth of respect and admiration I had for Alex Trebek. He will be greatly missed.
This gentleman brought so much joy to my life. He is irreplaceable and he will be missed. RIH Sir!
I've learned everything I need to know in life from people like this. He was worth 78 million dollars. Was still working 2 weeks before he dropped dead. I will not be like this. Go to the lake, or the mountains. Buy a boat, camper, plane, fast car. Play with your kids, grandkids, especially your wife, play with her a lot. Go do something other than work! Don't die at work.
It breaks my heart every time I think about Alex being gone. I seriously believe he was the classiest man to ever walk this earth.
I hate this channel because of your dependence on clickbait. Go to hell and goodbye.
I remember his voice on jeopardy when I was kid it will be hard to hear the game show without him he is a legend
A gentleman through and through. Exhibiting strength and kindness till the end. He and his awesome voice will be sorely missed. It’s a shame future generations won’t be able to know of him. What is: RIP Alex. Bon Voyage and good travels?
God just welcomed one of his great works of art into his kingdom!

Rest in peace Alex. You fought a brave and hard fought battle. Condolences to the family especially wife Jean. Jeopardy won't be the same :-(
Jeopardy didn't debut in 1984 it was brought back from the 1960s show with Art Fleming
His last few words are needed to be heard now more than ever in America.
Love Alex, his message here, and I'm completely on board with creating a kinder, gentler society. I fear those who subscribe to the heartless and empathy-lacking culture that has grown over the last 4 years will dismiss this and continue to be a-holes because someone high up the ladder made them believe it's OK to be a bully. Thankfully there are more Alex's than Trump's in the world.
Alex needs a movie
Rest in peace Alex! Love you!
It breaks my heart every time I think about Alex being gone. I seriously believe he was the classiest man to ever walk this earth.
liked the end message tho
When I first heard of his death I cried for almost and hour and decided I would wait a little until I watch any of the news about him, I thought I was ready but now im crying all over again this man was a saint and an all around good guy.RIP
I truly hope that he knew in the end, really knew, how much we all loved him.
Respect and rest in peace Mr. Trebek
Jeopardy has been on far longer than that. Art Fleming was the original host.
Anyone else trying not to cry the whole time? :'(
Wow 2:05..........just wow.
