some of y'alls comments are really rude. you guys need to realize that they are 'TRAVEL VLOGGERS' their job IS to travel and because of the pandemic they haven't traveled for 9 months. I understand we're in the middle of a pandemic but they seemed to have followed all the precautions given they were in an almost empty airport. people still have to go to work & school everyday.. just cuz they have it documented doesn't give us a right to judge them. there's a difference with constructive criticism and being blatantly rude!

Look I love you guys but this is not it. I'm disappointed. You speak of your struggles like most of the country hasn't been stuck in one place for 10 months, you guys were going places and seeing things while other people were losing jobs, missing school, losing FAMILY, and getting sick. It's honestly kind of weird to me that you guys who I've respected and looked up to for quite some time make a decision like this. You are not the only people traveling but that doesn't make this decision any less responsible. If you felt "physically sick" thinking about going on a plane then don't fly unnecessarily. We watch this channel for you two not always for your extravagant travels, please truly think about the criticism you're getting and truly think about your decisions more. We expected better of you two 𝘥𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘤. I truly hope you don't get sick from this and make it back home safely. Enough said now I think though.

You two are like the perfect people to show what it's like right now to travel. I want to go see my dad in California (I'm in Washington State) but am terrified of going out in this mess. I'd consider driving there but I start falling asleep after 2.5hrs and it's about a 20hr trip not including rest breaks, sleeping, and food. Guess I'll need to get over it and fly anyway. Maybe. We'll see

Really disappointed to see this video. Love you guys so much but have really lost respect that you have chosen to do non-essential travel during this horrid pandemic. You guys are role models and should be setting an example. The phrase is simple “Stay Home”. This will not be forever. Would happily watch you potter around in your house as people have said we enjoy watching Kara and Nate not only the places you travel to. Let’s see if all these comments people have been leaving sink in and make you guys re-evaluate what a bad decision you made travelling to Vegas.

Why so much unnecessary hate in the comments? Why do you think ppl watch this channel? It's escapism and vicarious pleasure. I watch them fly - because I can't. I watch them do van life - because I can't. And they have taken safe steps, wore masks, use hand sanitiser, and overall being honest about their experience. It may not have been the best decision, but it was their decision. Let's just hope the next video is not them testing positive though - that airport crowd was kinda scary.
The point is not why the hate. The point is that they know better and you can tell because Nate literally spent the whole video trying to justify their unnecessary travel. No one was blaming them when they had to fly from Singapore back to U.S for example as it was absolutely necessary for them to get home. But this? Escapism can happen in various ways. The bottom line is you could endanger other people not just yourself by travelling in this time. If you do not get why people are angry, I would say you do not know anyone that is positive of COVID or that died of the disease.
I’m a registered nurse. 😂 Y’all people are seriously trippin. Leave these people alone too live their lives. Covid is the new flew. It’s not going away. Get used too it! Take precautions. 🙃 Stay safe!
If you're a nurse and it's not that big of a deal to you. Then you should be going to work without any PPE or any sort of protection and then come back and tell us it's okay to travel
It was so fun to see you document your first flight since March. I missed all the sights and sounds of opening car door, pulling out luggage,hearing handle come up on luggage, kara walking onto the plane, seeing the cities below....ahhh a comfortable/normalcy. Thank you! I have flown united 3 times and planes have been packed 😳

There is so much negativity in the comments right now! I get there is a pandemic but I’m willing to bet most of your subscribers would jump at a free penthouse in Vegas right now. I’m sure you guys were incredibly safe during the flight and in the airport. I hope you had fun! P.S let’s not forget about the flight/airport staff who are thankful for travelers because that means they still have a job!

it made me so nervous that u guys weren't wearing life jackets while kayaking, that water there would be hard to swim in and its nearly impossible to climb back into the kayak once its tipped and u can't touch the ground

If you've not seen your loved ones in a year, doesn't mean Kara and Nate can't.. get tested before your travels, wear your protective gear and your masks and you will be fine. Just because you're sitting at home scared of the virus, does not mean others have to be that scared and only sit home and be depressed about it. Get on with life.
