To everyone wondering about the delays, it's because of covid, poor management, and abusing/overworking the carriers. I work for the post office and I can tell you the delays are not on purpose. Thanks to covid, the demands are ridiculously high, the hiring process is a complete joke, and all of the carriers are burned out. It's gotten so bad that our CCAs are quitting left and right, the regulars are forced to work on their days off, the seniors are doing early retirement cuz they can't keep up, mandated overtime, and carriers desperate for time to rest or be with family that they are using their annual and sick leave. This is why the post office is struggling.
